5 spotted models reveal their favorite perfumes!

A few days ago I went shopping and I wanted to buy new perfume, one that I haven’t tried yet. I headed to the nearest beauty store to get my mission accomplished, having a few fragrances in mind that I saw in the latest issues of fashion magazines. I went to the perfume section and started spraying ha-ha. After 10 minutes the result was that my sense was completely confused from the different smells and no amount of coffee beans that the Douglas lady was offering me would have helped. I decided to play safe and got a perfume that I had before- Si by Giorgio Armani, which turned into one of my favorites and I left the store with the idea to come back another day.

Taking in mind that I didn’t like any perfume from the recommended ones by the fashion magazines I read the day before, I decided to start a discussion with our Spotted models in our Facebook group. Every girl loves the beauty talk, so girls shared their favorite perfumes and helped me made my choice! Do you want to find out which are the perfumes that Aline, Lara, Sabien, Carmen and Billie- Jean love? Check our list below! :)  (more…)

Magna Mirror with Daphne Groeneveld for Vogue Japan

A few days ago we came across the new work of the photographer David Dunan and we were fascinated by the beauty shot he did with the goddess of modelling Daphne Groeneveld! Magna Mirror is the result created by the amazing work of the team- Andrew Mukamal fashion editor, beauty editor Kathy Phillips, hair stylist Kayla MiChele and Marla Belt who did this amazing make up! Marla played with feathers, purple colors, eye shadows between azure blue and grey mint, false dramatic eyelashes and silver stardust in combination with the beautiful eyes of Daphne and her full lips.  The editorial made us fall in love with Daphne once again and rediscover her magnetic presence in front of the camera! Take a look at the close shots of the Dutch beauty and get your dose of sparkling inspiration! Daphne Groeneveld in the spotlight!

Spotted! Beauty inspiration from the catwalk

Fashion week is over but that doesn’t mean that we have to wait for the next one to get inspired! While following all the fashion shows in Milan, Paris and New York we selected some trends for you that you can apply easily and help you transform your look, in case you get bored and want to try something different!

 1. Givenchy

I have always admired Ricardo Tisci for his work for Givenchy. This year his great performance and as a designer was not an exception. The Italian hair style master Luigi Murenu and make up guru Pat McGrath were the ones who created the stunning looks of the models. We saw variety of natural looks, dramatic dark lips combined with tight low hair buns and black vinyl headbands. Yes, Headbands! It turn out that they are very trendy and can be your best friend when it comes to quick hair transformations! Try it out!

2. Calvin Klein

One word: minimal! Natural beauty is always appreciated and it is the chosen one by Pat McGrath and Guido Palau, make up and hair artists, responsible for the 25 beautiful models of Calvin Klein, representing the Spring/Summer 16 collection. Freely natural wavy hairs and fresh glowed skin made the models look irresistible. Whatever you wear, the most important is to feel comfortable and beautiful in your own skin, because beauty comes from withing!

Top 5 beauty looks from the catwalk

1.Christian Dior

We all know the summer effect we get from the salt sea water  that makes our hair look wild and wavy. Looks like Guido Palau who was responsible for the hair of Christian Dior’s fashion show loved that look too since the models were spotted with the natural wavy hair which appears to be trendy for the season. If you want to achieve the same, we advice you to try the Sea Salt Texturising Spray by Toni & Guy. Suitable for all hair types and perfect for achieving a lived-in, beach look. Spray evenly from root to tip on towel-dried or dry hair and work through to create tousled waves with natural movement.

Guido Palau was the creative person for the hair for Versace’s show as well. The hair styling was loose, waved and to the hairs of the models was added a special detail beautiful flower garland.  The make up looks were natural with pale pink lip and filled brows which seems is the new trend. (more…)
