Fashion week is over but that doesn’t mean that we have to wait for the next one to get inspired! While following all the fashion shows in Milan, Paris and New York we selected some trends for you that you can apply easily and help you transform your look, in case you get bored and want to try something different!
I have always admired Ricardo Tisci for his work for Givenchy. This year his great performance and as a designer was not an exception. The Italian hair style master Luigi Murenu and make up guru Pat McGrath were the ones who created the stunning looks of the models. We saw variety of natural looks, dramatic dark lips combined with tight low hair buns and black vinyl headbands. Yes, Headbands! It turn out that they are very trendy and can be your best friend when it comes to quick hair transformations! Try it out!
2. Calvin Klein
One word: minimal! Natural beauty is always appreciated and it is the chosen one by Pat McGrath and Guido Palau, make up and hair artists, responsible for the 25 beautiful models of Calvin Klein, representing the Spring/Summer 16 collection. Freely natural wavy hairs and fresh glowed skin made the models look irresistible. Whatever you wear, the most important is to feel comfortable and beautiful in your own skin, because beauty comes from withing!
2. Maison Margiela
The one and only John Galliano! The name says a lot but we will add more because words can never be enough when it comes to the talented designer. For his ready-to-wear fashion show, Pat McGrath’s make up brush played backstage and glamoured the models with silver shaped drawings on their cheeks and blue eye shadows. Definitely not your new daily look, but it can be a great inspiration when it comes to your transformation for Halloween! Do you already have plans? If you are seeking ideas for your hairstyle as well, Eugene Souleiman who created the 50’s volumed styling of the models can be your new influencer. And you may already have noticed, but we cannot miss to mention the HEADBAND again! #musthave
Headbands overloaded! Looks like the hair accessory will be inevitable part of the Spring/Summer trends! We don’t mind that at all because you can find plenty of them in the stores and they can be chic accent and detail to your outfit! Seems like Karl Lagerfeld is a fan of them too, since many silver ones were spotted on the heads of his Chanel models, wearing his new collection! The make up artist and Estee Lauder’s new creative makeup director Tom Pecheux and hair stylist Sam McKnight combined their efforts to create the perfection called the Chanel look.
