The iconic Saskia de Brauw from Paparazzi Model Management (mothers agency) is one of the faces from the several covers of Self Service Fall/Winter 2015 that makes you wanna stare like at a piece of art. The Dutch model’s beauty was captured by the duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. The two fashion photographers met in 1994 and since then they have been working together. Their break in the industry was with their first cover of Dazed and Confused. Afterwards they got popular with portraits of strong and powerful women.
Among Mert and Marcus’ customers are Vogue USA, Vogue Italia, W Magazine, Interview Magazine, The Love Magazine and Numero. The talented creatives have worked with labels such as Missoni, Fendi, Miu Miu, Kenzo, Roberto Cavalli and other leading brands in the fashion industry.
Self Service magazine is a Paris-based fashion and cultural biannual. Saskia de Brauw, represented also by DNA Models (New York), Viva Model Management Paris, Why Not Model Management (Milan), Viva Model Management London, Viva Model Management Barcelona had a very successful season again. She got our attention during Fashion Week, walking shows for Marc Jacobs and Haider Ackermann. A while ago we spotted her in the editorial Back in the LimeLight of W Magazine, photographed again by Mert and Marcus.
