After bringing up names as Lara Stone in our spotlight and talking about ”forever muses”, here is the next one! Daphne Groeneveld from Bloom Management (Amsterdam) is gracing a cover again! Ranked as one of the Top 50 Models by models.com and represented by Women Management (New York, Paris and Milan), Select Model Management (London), Scoop Models (Copenhagen), Place Models (Hamburg) and Photogenics LA (Los Angeles) this season the Dutch top model gives us countless reasons to talk about her! We will tell you about all of them, starting with her work for Glass Magazine! First, let us tell you more about the concept of the magazine.
GLASS magazine exists at the increasingly collaborative intersection of art, fashion, music and design. GLASS aligns itself with the sophisticated consumer who is aware of the need for a more sustainable approach to comfortable living. Instead of being aspirational, GLASS seeks to be inspirational: believing that in these turbulent times, ‘luxury’ is governed by the intelligent, discerning choices we take to meet our needs, without compromising future generations. To this end, GLASS aims to transcend form, type or genre within its artistic endeavors to provide and promote timeless works of clarity, integrity and beauty. Invited contributors are encouraged to challenge popular thought and push artistic boundaries in style, art, writing and design, guided by key issues of sustainability. Previously unsung or future heroes are given the platform they deserve for being at the vanguard of their craft, and their work is discussed in the light of their impact on social change.
DAPHNE IN GLASS
”Too much is never enough.” Same matters when it comes to Daphne. Her extraordinary beauty can make us stare at her as a painting for hours. This month Daphne is not only a cover star of GLASS, but also the spotted model from the editorial called ” In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.” The classic quote of Chanel that fits perfectly for our spotted model.
In this editorial Daphne is photographed by Bojana Tatarska and the styling of her autumn chic wardrobe was done by Marine Braunschvig. The hair stylist Christoph Hasenbein and make up artist Helene Vasnier created the sexy wild look of Daphne as a finishing touch. We are mind blown and guess you are too, but that’s not all! Stay tuned and check later today on Spotted Style what is the next reason to have Daphne in our spotlight!
