I have always loved Alexander McQueen for his deep sense of art, extraordinary designs and skills to empower women with his creations. After I watched the Spring/Summer 2016 fashion show from Paris Fashion Week today, I can say that all the reasons about my admirations for McQueen apply to Sarah Burton as well. I was amazed by the new collection of the English fashion designer and creative director of the brand.
Watching the breathtaking show and hearing the magical melody as a background made me feel like I am in a white fairy tale, surrounded by the beautiful models of McQueen. The first familiar face that we spotted on the catwalk was of the Dutch beauty Maartje Verhoef from Micha Models, presenting the 3rd look of the new collection. Vera van Erp from Code Management, Essie Gassman from Elite Amsterdam and Noa Vermeer from Tjarda Model Management walked the show as well.
The Spring/Summer 16 collection of McQueen was one of the best I have seen so far during the happening Paris Fashion Week. It was full of unique pieces in cream tones and white colours. We spotted a few red jackets contrasting between the amazing looks created by a mixture of maxi and mini dresses in light and darker shades, A-shaped feminine dresses, see-through fabrics and long silver chains. Embroidery of blooming flowers were sprinkled on the beautiful long dresses. Don’t know if you took the chance to watch the live stream at the webpage of McQueen and spotted the new collection, but I am in love with the newest designs! Standing ovation for Sarah Burton and her work of art!
