Monique Collignon Light Couture met everyone’s expectations: Elegant and striking pieces dominated the catwalk. The last show of the 10th day of the Mercedes-Benz FashionWeek Amsterdam turned out to be truly breathtaking. We had the pleasure to see the work of Monique Collignon for a second time this Fashion Week! This time it was the turn of the Light Couture collection spring / summer 2016 with the message “Dress it up, dress it down.”
In this Couture Light (ready-to-wear) collection, which will be in the stores from mid-December we can see the four elements: earth, water, fire and air, in combination with plastic waste. Seventy percent of the clothes are being made from Waste2Wear materials and the rest from fabrics such as silk and lace which are also eco-friendly and responsibly produced. Collignon wants to raise attention to the (plastic) waste problem. This Light Couture line consists mainly of dresses for all occasions and ages. The collection is recognizable by the specially designed ‘The Conscious Collection “label and will be sold through Röling Import. For Spotted Style it was a pleasure to see the show and we really enjoyed it!
