Hobbies: field hockey, art/drawing. And I have a passion for fashion!

I was scouted when I was 14 years old when I was shopping at Zara in Amsterdam. A year later I was scouted again at Zara in SoHo, New York!
Did modelling influence or change your life? If so, in which way?
Modeling definitely changed my life in a positive way. It gave me confidence and made me much more independent. It also gave me an unique insight in the fashion business, which I otherwise would never have been able to experience.
Are you doing catwalks? Have you walked a show for Fashion week?
This is my first season and I still have to balance modeling with school. That means that I can’t do everything. I was already lucky to walk amazing shows like Dior, Gucci and exclusively close the Calvin Klein show and more.
Have you always dreamed of becoming a model?
I never really dreamt of being a model but when I was very young… My sister and I would play dress up, she would always be the fashion designer and I would be the model haha.

There are many aspects to becoming a successful model. You should always be in a good mood and it is very important to show confidence!

Fashion for me: a way to express myself and to show who I am. My style is simple, often skinny jeans with boots or sneakers, but then combined with an interesting jacket or accessory.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt until now from the school of life?
Lessons learned: everything happens for a reason. I lived in the states for 8 years and when we moved back to Holland, I didn’t like it at all.
