Describe yourself with a few words:
Easy-going, social, positive thinker

What are you hobbies and biggest passions?
Traveling, cooking and grocery shopping

When and how you started your modelling career? Were you scouted by somebody?
When I was 15 years old, my highschool obligated students to visit some universities to see what we want to study after. I had no idea what I wanted to study, but I imagined it would be more fun to live in the big city instead of staying in my hometown. So me and two friends decided to visit a Fashion Management University close to Utrecht. But instead of orientating ourselfes, we had a quick walk trough the school, didn’t like it and went shopping as soon as possible.

While I was in the H&M a modelscout Lucia Adriana came up to me and asked me if I was a model and if not, if I was interested in it. She made some photos of me and she left her card so me and my parents could come visit the agency. My parents were very surprised when I came back with shopping bags and Lucia’s card instead of flyers from the university. At least I knew what to do after high school.

Did modelling influence or change your life? If yes, how?
Yes! Before modelling I was kind of shy, I didn’t feel like making a lot of friends and I loved to stay at home. When I was 17 I moved to Paris by myself without knowing anyone there. It was so hard in the beginning and I was very homesick, but after a little while I started enjoying it. Now I love to explore new cities and make new friends from around the world.

Are you doing catwalks?

What are the biggest campaigns/brands you have done and worked for?
Jill Stuart Japan, Burberry e-com, Vogue Japan, Urban Outfitters, ELLE Netherlands/Germany/Mexico/France/Italy/Japan/Korea, Glamour UK/Netherlands, L’Officiel France/Netherlands

No, I never thought about it before I got scouted.

One thing that you love most about modelling?
To live in the most exciting cities and the opportunity you get to make friends all over the world.

What is fashion for you? How would you describe your own style?
It isn’t the most important in life but it does make me happy. It’s a way to express and comfort yourself. I don’t have one specific style. One day I wear a leather pants or biker jackets, the other day I wear skirts and (fake) fur coats. Depends on my mood and the weather that day.

What is your must-have for the season?
I don’t know yet. I’m not following the trends too much. I just buy whatever I like.

What makes you laugh and what makes you happy?
My brother always makes me laugh. Traveling, summer & breakfast make me happy.

How do you see Life through your eyes?
Life is a short amount of time and you’re the one, influenced by luck and other people, to make it a fun adventure.

The things that are worth fighting for are?
Family, friends, health, work. Everything that makes you happy and adds value to your life.

5facts that we don’t know about you
I’m addicted to Vitamin C effervescent tablets. (Not because I’m a healthfreak, I just love the taste of it)
I love grocery shopping
I drink coffee with a straw so my teeth don’t get dirty.
I’ve studied for a year but I missed traveling too much so I quit after getting my propaedeutic diploma
I’d love to work in a modelling agency or own a healthy bakery after my modelling adventure.

How do you imagine the future, what does it hold for you?
I’m very fickle when it comes to future plans. It scares me to think about it, because I enjoy life as it is now still too much. So I hopefully continue modelling for as long as I can. When I’m a retired model I hope to have a big family. Boyfriend/husband, 3-5 kids (girls!), a dog and living somewhere in Italy, Barcelona, New York area or Amsterdam. So basically, I’ve no clue where I’ll end up.

If you could tell something to the whole world what it would be?
Appreciate every single day and live it in a way it makes you happy.
