It’s time to say goodbye… My last week in Cape Town was GREAT!
Last weekend I went to Cape point with my parents and two of my housemates. It’s a 1,5 hour drive to the most South-Western point of the African continent. The view was amazing!
On Saturday morning I went to the Old Biscuit Mill with my parents, they really liked it! In the afternoon we relaxed at the beach.
Sunday morning my dad and I climbed up lions head.I was so proud of him! It’s not an easy walk… Especially with these hot temperatures, but it’s really worth it!
Monday was the last day for my parents in Cape Town. To start the day good we went for breakfast at Skinny Legs, that never gets boring. In the afternoon we went to some markets to buy souvenirs. In the evening we had dinner and enjoyed the beautiful sunset, before we’re heading back to the rainy days. I’m really happy that they came to visit me. It was such a great surprise and it made my trip even better ❤️
Tuesday morning I woke up early for my shoot with Preyen, the photographer I met last week.
It was really great to work with him and I’m excited to see the pictures! You can see already a preview of the shoot on my Instagram.
It’s feels a little weird to go back home… For the last 2,5 months I’ve been living with the same girls and now everybody is leaving soon. Some of the girls already left, the house gets more quiet now. My roomie left yesterday and I’m leaving today! With some girls you have a better connection then with others, but I got along with everyone… And of course there are a few I’ll definitely miss… But really happy I got to meet them and who knows where we can see each other again. For me this trip was very successful, I did some great jobs and met a lot of nice people and again… I learned a lot! And not to forget… I also enjoyed a lot.
I’m also excited to go back home, I’ll arrive on Saturday and in the evening I’m going to a birthday party, so I’ll get to see all my friends again!
To make the best out of my last day, I woke up at 6:00 this morning to hike up lions head with my Dutch girl Petra! To see the sunrise and enjoy the beautiful view.
Cape Town is AMAZING! But now it’s time for a new adventure. I hope you all enjoyed reading my blogs, I definitely enjoyed writing them.
Have a great weekend!
