Introduce yourself with a few words? Who are you?
Hi there, my name is Casper and I live in Amsterdam.

What are your hobbies and biggest passions?
I like to party and listen to music, especially techno! I also like hanging out with friends, but sometimes I like to be by myself. I mean, who doesn’t love to watch Netflix all afternoon?! Next to these things I love and need to exercise. I go almost every day for a workout and I need it because it’s a release and a real energizer, at least for me it is.

When and how you started your modelling career? Were you scouted by somebody?
My modelling career started when I just moved to Amsterdam. I was scouted in the Kalverstraat. It was a German agency, but I had no idea what it meant. It was only until later when I became more interested and heard some good stories about it, that I got in contact with Touché Models.

Did modelling influence or change your life? If yes, how?
So far, I’ve met a lot of amazing creative people. I’m also a lot more conscious about food and exercising. Beneath my apartment is a gym, which means: no excuse!
What is fashion for you? How would you describe your personal style? Where do you pull your inspiration from?
I look around on the streets and keep up with events like the fashion-weeks. If I see something I like, I’ll adapt and base my style on it. For me it’s important to feel comfortable in the things I wear. Besides that, it’s a way of showing people your personality. That’s why it’s also important to take good care of yourself and your body. If you don’t, you’re not doing  it fair to yourself.
Do you get to travel a lot for your work? If so what’s your favourite city that you have visited? Do you have a dream destination?

I don’t get to travel a lot yet. I’m still in college and because of that, it’s very hard for me to travel. I can’t just leave for a few days, eventhough I would love to. For instance, I would like to go to New York for a modelling job, the bigger the city, the better!

Give us 5 facts about you people may not know.
1. I wear glasses to be able to read the subtitles during a movie.
2. I hate not being able to play a music instrument.
3. I hate potatoes, although I love some French fries.
4. I’m a huge geek: I love working on my computer and fixing things at home.
5. I really like plane food

What are your top priorities? What keeps you going?
Keep in touch with family and friends and showing them attention.  When you expect them to be there for you whenever you need them, you have to do the same for them!
Define happiness. What makes you laugh and what makes you happy?
Happiness is when I get to spend time with my parents and my sister, because I don’t get to see them so often. It’s amazing when we start laughing, because we reinforce each other, so there is no stopping. My dad is the funniest man I know, he’s such a cool dude.
How do you see Life through your eyes?
Life is a pile of chances. You HAVE to grasp on to each chance you get, because you don’t get them for nothing. Believe in yourself, because if you don’t, nobody else will.

What is worth fighting for the efforts and the time?
What’s worth fighting for is to stay true to your roots.

3 songs from your playlist?
1. Hey Now – London Grammar. I think all their music is ingeniously well and they’re also very good live.
2. Uptown Funk – Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars. It get’s me in a good mood everytime I hear the song.
3. Fly – Ludovico Einaudi.
4. 7 Layers – Dotan. HA! That’s number four, but it’s worth it!
If you could give a name of this moment of your life, how would this chapter be called?

How do you imagine the future and what does it hold for you?
I hope to be able to travel around the world for modelling. I would love to see all different kinds of countries and cultures and to be able to work with inspiring people.

If you could tell something to the whole world what it would be?
Make sure you’re always able to look at yourself straight in the mirror without any guilt. Be ambitious and use your talents, give the world a little something of yourself!
