Describe yourself with a few words:
Kind, honest, funny, trustful, optimistic. Just a pleasant person to be with!

What are you hobbies and biggest passions?
My biggest passion is second hand shopping (I Just love it!! When you enter the shop and you smell that musty smell, you know you are going to succeed!) I don’t have many hobbies, I just like to sport and to hang out with my friends!

When and how you started your modeling career? Were you scouted by somebody?
I started my modeling career in January 2014. I ended my vmbo-t diploma and wanted to study just a bit longer to get my Havo diploma. So when I switch schools. Chris Phillippo, a fellow student saw me and wanted badly to shoot with me. In the end we got to work together, and when the photos were ready, Chris put them on Facebook. Apparently the owners of Fresh MM – Suzanne Pots and Mauro da Silva saw the pictures and send me a message. Fresh MM asked me if I were interested to be a model and if I want to have a chat with them. I said yes to Fresh MM. And I am enjoying it very much!

Did modeling influence or change your life? If yes, how?
Yes, more discipline! To be a model, you don’t only have to look good on pictures. You have to sport very often to be in shape (and when I say in shape, you have to obey the measures). So when I get home after school, I always do some exercises! And you have to be careful what you eat. Otherwise you hard work is for nothing! Good healthy food and some exercises is the perfect match to get in shape!

Are you doing catwalks?
Yes I am. I hope in the future I will be able to walk the Kokon to Zai show. I just adore their clothes!

Have you dreamed to be a model?
To be honest, not really. But when I was at age of 14, people were telling me: “Ah you have to be a model, you are gorgeous!” At that point my mother and I were searching for an agency. But in the end I never sent some pictures to agencies.

One thing that you love most about modeling?
I really love to get in touch with different people! I love to socialize, and to meet new people. And also to get to different places!

What is fashion for you? How would you describe your own style?
Fashion is a big thing for me. I always think about it. I love to play with clothes to get the perfect combinations. I would describe my style, as my own style. I don’t really have a name for it. But the styles that influence me are the style periods: 90ties, 80ties, and 70ties and Geisha style. (I just love the Japanese culture!)

What is your musthave for the season?
A good pair of socks. I always get cold feet.

Fashion/ beauty icon that you admire?
I admire Kate Moss, because of her coolness. But also her great style of fashion, I love her grudge/punk style!

A fact about you that we don’t know?
I really really really really love Marmite. Some toast, butter and MARMITE. (Oh that is so good!) I don’t say that often to people because they find it disgusting or they think it smells of dead people..

What makes you laugh and what makes you happy?
Embarrassing stories, but also a good joke! Music makes me very happy. (Like the genre nu-disco and French house!!)

Where do you get your inspiration from?
I get my inspiration most from my family, but also from my friends.

How do you see Life through your eyes?
Philosophic. I always wonder when I sit in the metro. And I am looking at people, what those people are thinking. For example, if they had a bad morning or if they wear their new pair of shoes. I love to be realistic but at the same time to dream away.

The things that are worth fighting for are?
Your dreams. Also equality in the world!

How do you imagine the future, what does it hold for you?
I hope a good career in modeling. If it is not a career in modeling, then I hope for career in the Fashion industry. And I imagine a future where I live in Amsterdam or New York!

If you could tell something to the whole world what it would be?
Just love yourself! And enjoying life to the fullest.
